YOUR CONSENT MATTERS
Proverbs 1:10 (KJV)- “My son, if sinners entice thee, Consent thou not.”
As a noble child of God, He has entrusted you with the ability to make right decisions. Your consent is required to activate your God-given will power and determine the outcome of your life. Consent refers to your voluntary and informed agreement to participate in or approve a process or direction.
This year, you must be intentional and discerning about what you consent to and what you resist. Your consent must never be forced or coerced, because once it is given, your will begins to work toward fulfilling what you have accepted in your heart and mind.
Some things you should consent to include living a life of peace and joy. You should also consent to building your mind through reading, listening to relevant, inspiring, and enlightening materials, and continually growing in wisdom. Above all, you must consent to believing every glorious thing God has spoken concerning you, allowing those truths to be reflected in the godly character you display. This way your salvation is secured and you will make heaven at last.
At the same time, you must never consent to satanic deception or manipulation, especially those that attempt to take root in your thoughts. Do not consent to actions or behaviors that displease God, and do not be found among those who delight in sin. You must also refuse to consent to fear and the limitations it brings; instead, rise above it through faith and confidence in God.
Prayer Point: Father I surrender my mind, will and emotions to you. Help me to only consent to what is the good and perfect will of God for me this year in Jesus name
