God’s Love Will Ward Off the Evil Effect of Envy (12th August 2021)
James 3:14-16 (KJV) – “But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t brag and deny the truth. Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every kind of evil.”
Envy is fueled by the daunting effect of fear and rejection which stems from having an unhealthy self-esteem. But if Christ is formed in us, our perception about life be interpreted accurately. To guard your heart against the evil effect of envy, spend time in worship, and praying in the Spirit, If you fail to address this envious spirit, you will end up with certain behaviors that are despicable for a believer to manifest. You must spend time in God’s presence so that your mind can be renewed and your vision becomes refocused on what matters most in carrying out your kingdom assignment. Seek God’s face and His strength forevermore.

Father please help me to be filled with God’s spirit so that I will not fulfil the works of the flesh in Jesus name.
