Wisdom is Honorable
Proverbs 4:8-9 (NLT)- “If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honor you. She will place a lovely wreath on your head; she will present you with a beautiful crown.”
The verse says wisdom “will honor you” when you “embrace her”. This honor may not necessarily be about fame or recognition from others but it’s about living a life that reflects goodness, integrity, and grace. The fruits of wisdom are endless possibilities for promotion and advancement. When you walk in wisdom, your life becomes a testimony of God’s work in you.
Even without seeking attention, people may begin to notice something different about you because your choices reflect love, patience, and truth. God’s approval on a person who embraces honor always leads to lasting peace. Wisdom will build a strong and lasting character that is deeply rooted and cannot be swayed by opinions of men or women.
God delights in shaping your life through wisdom. As you grow, you’ll experience the joy of knowing that your life is aligned with His purpose, and that is a beautiful kind of honor. Choose to embrace honor by living wisely so that you will receive the honor from God that will build a life of value and endurin memories across generations.

Lord, let my life reflect the honor that comes from walking in Your wisdom. Help me to live in a way that pleases You in Jesus name, amen.
