The Wreath of Wisdom
Proverbs 4:8-9 (NLT)-“If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honor you. She will place a lovely wreath on your head; she will present you with a beautiful crown.”
When we welcome wisdom into our lives, it says “she will place a lovely wreath on your head.” In ancient times, a wreath was given to someone who had done well. It was a simple sign of honor and joy. It was often made from leaves or flowers, showing beauty and care. In the same way, when you choose wisdom, your life slowly begins to show something good and beautiful.
This “wreath” can be seen in the small changes that grow inside you. You may begin to show more patience, kindness, humility, and self control and all he fruits of the Spirit. These changes do not happen all at once, but little by little as you walk with God each day. Even if people do not always say it, they may begin to notice a calmness and peace in your life.
It is also comforting to know that God sees every choice you make. Even in quiet moments, He is working in your heart. As you continue to follow His wisdom, your life becomes like a gentle sign of His goodness, filled with grace and a quiet confidence.

Father, please help me to welcome Your wisdom each day. Let my life grow in kindness and reflect Your goodness in Jesus name, amen.
