Gifts’s First Revealed at Home
Proverbs 3:20 (NKJV)- “By His knowledge the depths were broken up, And clouds drop down the dew.”
God designed the family to be a channel for generational blessing. This is one of the beautiful mysteries of His wisdom unfolding in our lives. Often, the gifts He has placed within us are first recognized at home. Those closest to us may notice unique abilities, passions, or tendencies before anyone else does.
At times, family members may not fully understand those gifts, and their reactions may be imperfect. Yet within the safety of family, our gifts begin to surface and take shape. God, in His wisdom, allows what He has deposited in us to be nurtured in familiar and loving spaces.
A discerning and prayerful loved one can help cultivate those gifts, covering them in prayer and encouraging their growth. In this way, the home becomes the first training ground where purpose is discovered, affirmed, and strengthened.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the gift of family and for the seeds of purpose You have planted in my life. Help me to recognize and nurture the gifts within me and within those around me. May my home be a place where Your purposes are discovered and encouraged. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
