God’s Love Is Greater Than A Mother’s Love (9th May 2021)
Isaiah 66:13 (NLT) – I will comfort you there in Jerusalem as a mother comforts her child.
A mother’s love could be the closest comparison to use in describing the love of God but still does not come close to it. Our mother’s comfort us when we are sad or involved in a trouble and she always assures us of a brighter future. A mother has very high hopes about the beautiful future of her children and so she sacrifices her comfort to make sure the child has a comfortable future. God’s love, if comparing with her love, is rather eternal, never failing nor relenting and ever faithful to the ones He loves. The excellency of a mother’s love only gives us cues on how magnificent the love of God is. Like a mother does not forget her nursing child nor cease from having compassion, God will never leave you nor forsake you.

Father I magnify your holy name today for loving me unconditionally in Jesus name.
