God’s Love is the antidote for Weariness (26th June 2020)
Matthew 11:28-29 (MSG) – Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it.
Whenever you are tired and downhearted, God is there to strengthen you. When you are sad and in despair, His Love will lift your countenance. When you are in dismay and do not know which way to go His Love is there to guide you along the paths of righteousness. When all you hoped for seems lost, God will be there cheering you along the way. He promised in His Word to walk with Him and discover real rest. Go to God now, go as you are He says. He will receive you with open arms. He will exchange your weariness for renewed strength and vigor.
Prayer
Father help me to always run to you when I feel weary in Jesus name.
