You Were Created With Purpose 2
Proverbs 3:19 (NKJV)- “The Lord by wisdom founded the earth. By understanding He established the heavens.”
This verse reminds us that God is a sure and steady foundation. A foundation supports and sustains everything built upon it. In the same way, God is faithful and unshakable. When emotions rise and fall or circumstances shift unexpectedly, He remains constant. In His presence, instability is quieted, and fear loses its power. Therefore our stability comes from fixing our eyes on God and not in our feelings, nor in what we see, but in who God is- Our steady foundation.
The heavens are vast, intricate, and beautifully ordered, all founded by His wisdom. In the beginning, when the earth was without form and void (Genesis 1:2a), God brought order out of chaos and light out of darkness. In the same way, He is able to bring clarity, peace, and purpose into the areas of our lives that feel unsettled or unclear. What seems messy today can, in His hands, become meaningful and beautiful.
We cannot control what we did not create. Instead of striving for control, we are invited to trust the One who created all things. Creation itself unfolded gradually, revealing that God works with intention and patience. He is never rushed, and His timing is always perfect even when waiting feels long and difficult. We can rest in the assurance that He is making all things beautiful in His time for us and for our families.
Prayer
Dear Lord, please teach me to wait with patience and to trust Your perfect timing in every area of my life. For the things I am hoping and praying for right now, help me to rest in Your faithfulness. Give me the grace to obey You fully, so that I may walk in step with Your will. Be my stability while I wait, and let Your peace guard my mind in Jesus’ name, Amen.
