You Were Created With Purpose
Proverbs 3:19 (NKJV)- “The Lord by wisdom founded the earth. By understanding He established the heavens.”
When we look at the world around us, the unchanging cycle of day and night, the constant seasons, the vast skies and all the firmament above, we’re reminded that nothing God made was random. The earth was founded with wisdom, and the heavens were established with understanding. That means creation wasn’t rushed, careless, or accidental but it was thoughtful, intentional and with purpose.
Nothing God created was an accident. The earth was built with careful calculation. This reminds us that God is intentional about His creations and not careless. If creation has purpose, then so does your life. The God who wisely built the universe is wisely at work in you. On days when things feel confusing or unstable, this verse invites you to pause and remember: your life rests on the carefulness of God, not on chance.
This verse offers reassurance about the thoughtfulness of God. He understands how things fit together, even when you don’t. If God had the wisdom to design the universe, He also has the wisdom to guide your life—your decisions, your struggles, and your future.
Prayer
Lord, You created the earth and the heavens with wisdom and understanding. Help me trust that same wisdom in my own life today. Help me believe that You work with purpose, even when I don’t see it yet in Jesus name, Amen.
