The Lord Sees All
Proverbs 5:20-21 (NLT)- “Why be captivated, my son, by an immoral woman, or fondle the breasts of a promiscuous woman? For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes.”
Our God is the Alpha and the Omega who He sees the end from the beginning and everything in between. Whenever He gives a warning, it is not to restrict us, but to protect us, knowing the frailty of human strength. He has bestowed upon us honor and dignity, yet these can be lost through a single act of fornication or adultery.
God desires that we guard our hearts and avoid ungodly associations, because they have the power to draw us away from Him, ultimately leading to destruction. A “strange woman” represents anyone outside the covenant of marriage with whom we have no rightful or spiritual authority to engage intimately.
When a man becomes entangled with a forbidden person, he places himself under the influence and control of the altar of consecration of such a person. This is dangerous and self-destructive because such relationships can drain purpose, diminish value, and erode destiny, leaving a person without honor or lasting legacy.
Prayer Point
Father please grant me the grace to be always aware that you are present in whatever I am doing. Order my steps in Your Word so I can live in dignity and honor all my days in Jesus name. Amen.
