SOWING GOOD SEEDS
Proverbs 1:31-33 (KJV)- “Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, And the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, And shall be quiet from fear of evil.”
God, in His infinite wisdom, designed life in such a way that we do not always need to consciously seek Him before we see the results of how we live. He established a divine system of cause and effect, where actions naturally produce outcomes. Every choice we make is a seed, and every seed eventually produces fruit.
The life you live today is already leading to something tomorrow. When you consistently sow good seeds, you will inevitably reap good fruits. Speaking in love to others plants seeds of peace and unity. Extending a helping hand to those in need positions you to receive help from unexpected places. Choosing righteousness and turning away from sin prepares a harvest of divine favor, protection, peace, and strength.
God’s Word assures us that those who listen to Him and walk in wisdom will dwell safely and live free from the fear of evil. This year ensure that your daily choices matter because they will shape the harvest you will one day enjoy.
Prayer Point:
Father, help me to sow good seeds throughout this year, that I may reap a bountiful harvest of good fruits, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
