Living Intentionally In Wisdom

Proverbs 5:1-2 (NLT) – “My son, pay attention to my wisdom; listen carefully to my wise counsel. Then you will show discernment, and your lips will express what you’ve learned.”
‭‭

Today’s verse tells us that wisdom requires attention, humility, and a willingness to be taught. We must place value to it. We can truly walk in wisdom through Scripture, wise counsel, or quiet reflection. Always position yourself to receive guidance that can transform your decisions and direction.

As we begin to internalize wisdom, something powerful begins to happen and our discernment grows. This discernment is essential in enabling us recognize what is right, avoid subtle traps, and make choices that align with truth. Through consistent attention to truth and a heart that is open to correction we will observe that wisdom has become light.

Finally, wisdom must be applied in our speech. When wisdom fills your heart, your words begin to uplift, guide, and bring clarity to others. As you speak, you have the opportunity to reflect truth, demonstrate understanding, and encourage those around you with insight that comes from a life rooted in wisdom.

Prayer Point:

Lord, help me to listen carefully to Your wisdom each day. Give me a teachable heart, grow discernment within me, and let my words reflect truth, grace, and understanding in every situation in Jesus name. Amen.
