Wisdom Improves Quality of Life
Proverbs 4:10–11 (NLT)- “My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. I will teach you wisdom’s ways and lead you in straight paths.”
Today God speaks to us like a loving Father who truly cares about our lives. His invitation to “listen” to Him is a gentle call to a loving relationship with Him. In heeding to this call we must develop a humble heart and teachable spirit. We must possess a heart that is open and willing to learn. God’s wisdom is always available to anyone who sincerely seeks Him.
God promises that when we follow His guidance, it leads to a long and good life. This means living a long life with peace, purpose, and direction. Many of life’s struggles come when we refuse His wisdom and go our own way, but God offers a better path that is shaped by truth and wisdom. When you choose to trust Him step by step, you will begin to see how His guidance gently protects and leads you.
Finally, God assures us that He will lead us in straight paths. This means He will help you avoid confusion, unnecessary pain, and poor choices. Even when life feels uncertain, His wisdom can guide you and keep you steady. Your part is to stay close, listen, and follow. His part is to lovingly guide, teach, and lead you into a life that reflects His goodness.
Prayer Point:
Lord, please give me a humble and teachable heart to listen to Your wisdom and follow Your guidance each day. Lead me in the right path and help me live a life that honors You in Jesus name. Amen.
