THE FEAR OF THE LORD
Proverbs 1:7 (KJV): “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
The fear of the Lord begins with knowing who God is by understanding His nature, character, principles, and promises. First, we must know that God’s nature is love. He is loving, and everything He created flows from that place of love.
God’s character is revealed through His mercy, justice, and righteousness. His principles call us to love God and humanity, to walk in compassion toward others, and to live uprightly with a clear conscience. We are instructed to be honest and truthful, humble and willing to serve, and intentional about living a life of impact.
As you walk in these principles, you will soon realize that your life is being guided by wisdom. This wisdom will produce manifold results, not only in your own life, but also in the lives of those around you.

Father, help me to diligently study Your Word so I may know You more deeply and live by the principles of Your Kingdom. Empower me to reign as a king on earth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
