God’s Love Will Fill the Empty Space (10th November 2021)
Genesis 1:2-4 (BSB) – Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.
God sent forth His light to chase out the darkness that is the cause of chaos on the earth. Darkness comes with a lot of trouble. First it inhibits us from seeing properly, it prevents orderliness and decency, it distorts our perspective of things which affects how we interpret life. Darkness is the reason behind lies, deceit and falsehood. It promotes vain activities that leads to waste of time and productivity. Because light inhibits sight, we may not find value in valuable things because when the purpose of a thing is unknown, the abuse of that thing is certain. God will speak light into our lives and exempt us from groping in darkness.
Prayer
Father please send forth light into our community and let darkness not becloud us in Jesus name.
