God’s Love Is Your Divine Substitute (6th October 2020)
Isaiah 60:17 (LB) – I will exchange your brass for gold, your iron for silver, your wood for brass, your stones for iron. Peace and righteousness shall rule and lead you!
The bible is full of many stories of divine substitution for a chosen vessel from a less favorable condition to an exalted place of authority. King David was taken from the back side of the desert to the throne while Saul was still King. This divine replacement was as a result of God’s love for David and because He was a man after God’s heart, our Lord and eternal King Jesus descended from King David’s lineage. Till today, that throne is still recognized today as the most powerful kingdom of all times. My friend, if you faithfully obey God’s commandment and live justly, love mercy and walk humbly before him, He will exalt you in due time. He will replace the thorns of life with roses that blossom in springtime. You will be raised to replace mediocrity with excellence and your story will change for good and you will return with joy and singing in Jesus mighty name.
