God’s Love will lead to self-discovery (20th June 2020)
Proverbs 19:8 (MSG) – Grow a wise heart-you’ll do yourself a favor; keep a clear head-you’ll find a good life.
Self-discovery is a great responsibility we ought to perform on ourselves as we enter any new phase of life. An unmarried person will have a responsibility which changes when they get married and change again when they become parents. Our disposition towards self-discovery should be to always ask God to search us and try our hearts because He knows the set standard for each of us. We may sincerely think we know ourselves well enough, but we may not know who we are meant to be. We cannot compare ourselves with ourselves else we act like fools. God through His Word will help discern our thoughts and intents of our hearts. In His Love, He will gently correct us and guide us in wisdom to realign and become better versions of ourselves.
