The Value of Wisdom
Proverbs 3:13-14 (NKJV)- “Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding; For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.”
True happiness comes from finding God’s wisdom and growing in understanding. This kind of wisdom is not about knowing everything, but about learning to trust God and live in a way that pleases Him. When we seek His guidance, our hearts become more peaceful and our lives gain direction.
The verse compares wisdom to silver and fine gold to show how valuable it is. While money and possessions can help us for a moment, they cannot give lasting peace or meaning. God’s wisdom, however, shapes our character, protects our hearts, and helps us make choices that lead to a fuller, more meaningful life.
As we grow in faith, God invites us to seek His wisdom each day. Even small steps toward understanding His ways matter deeply to Him. When we choose wisdom, we are choosing a treasure that lasts far beyond anything this world can offer. When we walk in wisdom, our work bears fruit that creates enduring wealth and blessings across generations.

Dear Lord, please help me to desire Your wisdom above all else. Teach me to trust You, guide my steps, and grow in understanding each day. Amen.
