The Depth of God’s Wisdom 2
Proverbs 3:20 (NKJV) – “By His knowledge the depths were broken up, And clouds drop down the dew.”
Another depth revealed through God’s wisdom is the beautiful way He provides food for humanity. Our nourishment comes from plants and animals, and for plants to grow, they require sunlight and rain. In His infinite wisdom, God established a continuous water cycle that sustains life without human control. It is a remarkable display of balance, order, and precision.
This cycle brings rain for agriculture, nourishment for the earth, and sustainability for aquatic life. The provision of rain is not random; it is part of a carefully designed system that supports survival. The rain replenishes the oceans—vast ecosystems filled with intricate life and interdependence. The design of aquatic life reflects divine intelligence woven into creation.
In the same way, our lives are thoughtfully designed to depend on God, on one another, and on the environment He has provided. He has placed within creation everything we need to function fully, with continual replenishment where necessary. Even when we cannot see how the pieces fit together, nothing in our lives escapes His awareness. The same God who formed the universe is guiding our steps. In every season, He is wisely directing our journey.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the depths of Your wisdom revealed in creation. Though I may not understand everything happening around me, help me to trust and follow Your leading. Guide me through each season of life, and provide the help and direction I need at the right time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
