God’s Love Has Made Us Partakers of His Excellent Glory (13th June 2021)
2 Peter 1:4 (NLT) – And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
God’s divine nature encompasses His divine power, wisdom, love, mercy and grace. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that we possess. His nature put on us enables us to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. His mercy draws His kindness and compassion towards us making us unharmed and unashamed in this world. His love for us makes us unafraid of evil tidings because His good thoughts towards we who love Him. Because we share in God’s nature, we become partakers of this excellent glory.
