God’s Love Will Give You The Spirit of Counsel (10th February 2021)
Isaiah 11:2 (KJV) – And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
It is amazing how God shows you what to do, how to respond and what to say to difficult situations. He is generous to give out His counsel if we can humble ourselves and ask. Jesus is the wonderful counselor and He works to do His will on earth. He is the spirit of truth that reveals the mind of the father to us. He is full of wisdom and understanding, He is our righteousness, holiness and our redemption. He told us to live as people with whom His spirit guides and not to be uncontrollable as horses. He will direct our paths along the blueprints of our life and give us instruction and strategy.
Prayer
Father please teach me how to make wise decisions and not to let my emotions overwhelm me in Jesus name.
