God’s Love Will Be True and Living In Your Life (3rd January 2021)
Hebrews 4:8-11 (NLT)- So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
We have read in the Bible about the wonderful promises of God concerning us that were promised to generations past but still hold true today. The entering into rest is one of such promises and now is the acceptable time to do so. Today’s scripture accurately describes the kind of rest that awaits the believer. When we enter our rest it is likened to when an automatic effort amplifying and success achieving lifestyle. You cease from worrying about outcomes of your endeavors. In that realm you are assured of victory through your continued obedience by keeping the faith in Christ. This year we will express radical faith in God and enter God’s prepared rest that remains for us.
Prayer
Father please take away disobedience from your children around the world so we can all enter into our rest this year in Jesus name.
