God’s Love Will Be Your Guiding Light (30th November 2020)
John 8:12 (NKJV) – Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.”
Jesus came to this earth to bring light to the world because light has many advantages for the believer. Firstly light brings knowledge about life through the entrance of God’s Word into our hearts. Light also brings guidance along our path so we will not walk blindly and stumble. The Word of God also contains life giving light that guides us through lives journey. When you walk in light, you do not lie or hide to do things in the dark because you are not afraid of your deeds being exposed. When you walk in light, you do not hate your brother or sister because love is light and there is no hatred in light. If you have love towards others, your light will shine towards them and will cause them not to stumble.
Prayer
Father please help me to always be in fellowship with you so that I will be full of light all the days of my life in Jesus name.
