God’s Love Will Ward Off Distractions In Your Life (19th July 2020)
My son, give attention to my words. Incline your heart to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your heart, keep them in the midst of your mind. For they are life to those who find them and health to all your flesh.
In a world full of so many distractions around us, we can observe that getting distracted is far easier than concentrating on a course of action. The social media platform which affords us access to many information has also become a means of distraction. Friends and family who do not share similar values with us can also be sources of distractions. When we do not have an anchor that keeps us in track we will end up not attaining our goal, or attaining it later than the expected time. God has given us a route of escape. He says we must incline our heart to His sayings, meaning that His sayings should be priority information for us in order to be focused. Anything or person that is not speaking God into your life should be deprioritized immediately.
Prayer
Father please keep me focused on your Word so that I can reach my expected end at the appointed time.
