God’s Love Stills the Raging Enemy (19th June 2020)
Psalm 118:6-9 (MSG) – God’s now at my side and I’m not afraid; who would dare lay a hand on me? God’s my strong champion; I flick off my enemies like flies. Far better to take refuge in God than trust in people; Far better to take refuge in God than trust in celebrities.
“Where do enemies originate from?” ‘who did I offend?” “what did I do to deserve all this hatred?” “how long do I have to withstand all these attacks?’ These are some of the questions we often ponder about especially those who so often do good to everyone. God hears all our ponderings and He longs to give us answers. But we must know that these questions have their answers hidden in God’s Love. When you walk with God, He reveals to you everything you ought to know about your life because life is full of mysteries. We only see in part and understand in part but God sees the whole picture of everyone and everything that has ever existed. Just be calm and trust in Him and He will show you what you need to know and do to overcome the enemy in your life. As you do your part, God is faithful enough to silence every rage and make your enemies at peace with you.
